I'm back!!!

It has been a long time since I last posted in this blog. I think we all know why. What's a poker blog without poker right? Though the big three are gone, I have found a new home for the time being. A small little skin on Merge called Hero Poker. It has its many faults but the customer service seems to be the best around at the moment. I haven't been playing this whole time though. When Black Friday hit I wandered aimlessly for a bit. I spent several months at a job I disliked just to pay the bills. However, now I'm back and looking to make poker my source of income once more.

With a site of this size (10k usually) sit n' goes almost never load so obviously they are out of the question. Their are 6 max supers that run at a good clip but the regulars make them worthless. FYI it only takes 2 good regs at a 6 max sng with you to make your EV break even. There are usually 3-5 meh regs in every game which is the same thing. I refuse to be a rakeback pro! Especially since I don't have rakeback at the moment. This leaves me with cash games and MTTs. Usually a decision of this magnitude would merit some thought. This not being my style choose to let the outcome of a ferret fight decide my fate.

But seriously am I really going to play 50nl or 100nl with the same 5 regs everyday? MTTs it is!

Neither PT3 nor HM is worth a crap at keeping track of buy in levels so you may have to just take my word for it as we go. Who needs graphs anyway. I will be starting by grinding the smaller stakes tournaments and hopefully working my way up to the biggest the site has to offer. I'm currently sitting on a roll of $1,000. When the site first opened to U.S. players they had a freeroll tournament that payed $100 to the top 100 finishers and from there its been an hour here and 10 minutes there of cash games, superturbo sngs, and MTTs.

Good luck at the tables to all of you still playing! I'll keep ya posted as I make my way up though the MTT stakes.
