I think for most poker players variance has come to mean running bad. Honestly, thats the first thing I would think of if I heard someone talking about it. There is however two sides to this coin. Just remember next time you are suffering a downswing that is ruining you day. You have had the best of it before. And you will again.
On the same note,I have been running hot all month so far. I had a small blip yesterday dropping 3 buy ins but tonight was great. Up 14 buy ins in 56 games. I am still a bit behind the volume I set out for myself but I will make it up this weekend.
